FAST-MOVING FRONTIER ACTION FROM THIRTEEN-TIME AMAZON KINDLE NUMBER ONE BESTSELLING WESTERN WRITER BEN BRIDGES!!

Hunter took his Colt from leather and checked it over one last time. He should have guessed his vengeance-quest would end in gunplay. Guns had played such a large part in it already; why shouldn't they have the last word?
He stepped outside. The street was deserted save for the man who’d called him out, who stood twenty yards away — the most dangerous gunfighter in the whole south-west.
Hunter saw faces watching him through dusty windows, and wondered whose side they were on. Did they care whether he survived this fight or died in the dust?
He stepped down into the street. This was it: the moment when you no longer drew up your gun just to blast the tips off Apache plumes or shatter empty bottles — but quite simply, to kill ...

"A superb natural storyteller," -- Twentieth Century Western Writers

"Ben Bridges is arguably the best western writer Britain has ever produced," -- Steve Hayes, author of Viva Gringo!

"A consistently original western writer whose talent has been touched by genius," -- Mike Stotter, author of McKinney's Revenge

A pleasant story
By Twostory
This western was a pleasure to read. The story tells the tale of a young man wrongly accused of robbery and murder who gets tried and sent to prison. Upon release, he vows to find the real killer - which he does. The action is fast and interesting while bad guys with fast guns and hard fists attempt to halt the investigation. Ben Bridges authors many westerns and this is another good one. I recommend it to those who enjoy classic westerns.

Good yarn.....But
By T. CHADWICK
Interesting from start to finish, BUT.. too many typos. This has been a problem with Amazons e-books from the start. Why can't someone edit these books that know what there doing and get it right. The many typos take away from the flow of the story. About ready to go back to the printed form.

Don't Bother
By G. B.
A high tolerance for extremely unlikely events is required to even finish this book. An old woman in her seventies has a twenty five year old daughter. This 25 year old woman is described as a Young Girl. Young woman of about 18 when her father was killed. Author repeatedly refers to Hunter as a Boy when he was framed. Hunter was 21 years old and had killed men ... He was no boy. Twenty One isn't a boy now and surely wasn't in the old west. There are other grating errors in this book also which make it poor reading. A critical Editor probably would have changed the One star to a three star.
