Thoroughly disappointed

This is one of the most frustrating textbooks I have encountered. It is in dire need of a competent editor.
The information is not organized well, has rambling passages that are excruciating to follow, is FRAUGHT with errors, does not include an answer key in the book (online only and every other answer only) and goes into FAR too much detail to be useful for the board exam. (Judging by the lack of cohesion, it appears as though many parts had been cut and pasted from one of Elsevier's nursing texts.)
I regret purchasing it. However, I highly recommend "Pharmacy Technician Exam" by Learning Express. It's a fraction of the cost and is very well-written and very well organized. It explains the basic concepts with clarity and includes ALL the answers PLUS explanations for all the answers.

Frustrating

At the time I bought this book I was brand new to the pharmacy/medical field and wanted to learn as much information about being a pharmacy technician as fast as I could, so I bought this book. This has been the most frustrating experience ever!!! The book does have A LOT of information, some of it is random babble, and other parts bounce around so much I can't keep track of where I'm at. Especially in the match section. Also, there is no answer key in the book to double check yourself! This is ridiculous! For as much information as this book holds, there needs to be a way to double check yourself.
However, before wanting to rip this book apart, I did notice on the top right-hand corner of the page, there is a website listed:[...] and it takes you to a page where you have to type in your email and password (it's free) and then it will take you to the online "workbook" which will give you the answers but only to the ODD QUESTIONS!!!! If you are learning on your own, like me, and do not have a classroom teacher to give you the rest of the answers, this isn't very beneficial and is extremely inconvenient.

Need a better textbook.

The book is informative, but the issue is how certain parts aren't as well highlighted. For one it keeps saying "This is the most important" or "this is very important", almost like everything in the book is important so it's best not to overuse that aspect.
In addition, most textbooks if you want a definition pointed out, you bold the word and then say what it is. With this, after looking through the questions in each chapter, you have to essentially hunt through the thick blocks of text for the answer with a magnifying glass.
